Teaching & Instructional Strategies to Build Islamic Character in the Classroom

Originally held on Thursday, December 12, 2013

Presented by Dr. Seema Imam

This webinar will look at the teacher’s role in building character traits, instilling goodness, building strong habits and making amazing connections that can last a lifetime.

Children learn what they live. In order for Islamic Schools to instil an Islamic character for living a lifetime as a Muslim, connections to the example of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ need to be strong.

Many teachers go through the curriculum and strive precisely for this but are looking for methodologies to secure these practices and form habits.

In this webinar, Dr. Seema Imam will present ways for teachers and school leaders to create school wide strategies that pull the school community together in nurturing Islamic character in students.

Every member of the school and community has a role to play. Teachers need to have open communications and be solution oriented so entire schools can develop methodologies to build Islamic character.
